Steve Peters, Executive Director

Steve is a local marketing professional, writer and community organizer. Originally from Connecticut, Steve moved to Rutland in 2011 after graduating from Southern Connecticut State University with a degree in English and education. He spent a year volunteering with AmeriCorps at a local high school before managing the Rutland Area Farm and Food Link’s communications and food education program. Most recently, he served as the Marketing Manager at the Rutland Area Food Co-op, a board member for the Rutland Young Professionals and columnist for the Rutland Reader.

Nikki Hindman, Marketing and Events CoordinatorNikki Hindman, Marketing & Events Coordinator

Nikki is an experienced graphic designer, photographer and printmaker with a demonstrated history of working in the festival and apparel industries. Originally from the Midwest, she has a B.F.A. in Graphic Design from the University of Missouri. Nikki moved to Vermont in 2017 after several visits and hopes to bring an outside perspective to Rutland to encourage community growth and economic development in the downtown. Outside of her creative work, Nikki has prior experience in event hospitality, concert booking and public relations.

Bill Bronson, Seasonal Sidewalk Maintenance

Bill Bronson was born in Middlebury, Vermont. He started a contracting career with the Skyline Corporation in Fair Haven, Vermont.  Bill worked at Skyline for many years before continuing on to Luxury Homes in Bomoseen, VT.  Bill worked at Luxury Homes as a contractor for 29 years until his retirement. He has been married for 38 years and has two married children, Jennifer of Seattle, Washington and son Seth of Rutland, Vermont.  Bill has been with the DRP since 2010 filling our Streets Maintenance position.
