We are excited for the new opportunities for Downtown Rutland that this year brings. Fostering collaboration among various organizations within our city and state gives us the ability to bring new growth to the Downtown. Participating in local efforts and at a state level gives us the opportunity to display Downtown Rutland as a destination location. Not only to Vermonters who like to travel through different parts of this beautiful state and see what we have to offer, but to also entice travelers to stop in our beautiful city showing them the unique offerings we can provide.
We want to nurture consistent communication with our diverse membership and act as public relations representatives as well as participate in advocacy efforts pertinent to the DRP. Collaboration and synergy with our local community organizations is very important to our future and making sustainable improvements in the downtown.
Growth is vital to our organization and making this a place to work, live and play is key to the success of our Downtown. I look forward to hearing your thoughts as we forge ahead in search of a new Executive Director for our organization.
I want to extend my gratitude to the local organizations and businesses that are assisting in our search. I want to also thank Michael Coppinger for his dedication to the organization for ten plus years. Mike was instrumental in bringing many new ideas to the downtown and was the driver of the Friday Night series of events and concerts. Thank you Mike for your many years with the Downtown Rutland Partnership.
The Best is yet to come…
