Farmer’s Market
The Downtown Rutland Farmer’s Market is open Tuesdays and Saturdays, mid-May through October. Sponsored by the Vermont and Downtown Farmer’s Markets, vendors offer such favorites as fresh fruits and vegetables, flowers both fresh and dried, plants, fresh breads, and mouth watering desserts; and handmade arts and crafts. The outdoor market officially opens Saturday, May 7, 9 am – 2 pm. The Tuesday market will open later in May.
New vendors are always welcome.

Vermont Farmer’s Market:
From November – April there is a Winter Farmer’s Market located in the former Strand Theater on Wales Street. One enters through the Rutland Area Food Co-op. The market is open Saturdays, 10 am – 2 pm. It’s a great opportunity to get fresh vegetables and other local items.
