Micro Marketing Grant Guidelines
Thank you for your interest in the Downtown Partnership’s Marketing Micro-Grant Program. Our mission for launching this program is to assist downtown partners improve business marketing strategies within the Special Benefits District.
The Downtown Partnership has $5,000 in this program to be awarded to downtown businesses.
Examples of proposal types that would be looked upon more favorably:
• An advertising strategy and/or campaign that would span many weeks or months.
• Strategies and programs that combine several media resources.
• Advertising strategies and/or campaigns that leverage other monies.
Projects that are not eligible for funding:
• A stand alone “one time” print display ad
• In store flyers
• Seasonal decorations for store
**If selected, grant recipients WILL be required to display and/or communicate the new Downtown Rutland’s brand logo and tag-line within the scope of the project, including marketing, promotions, ads, materials, etc. The Downtown Rutland Partnership will provide branding logos and templates.
Please complete the application carefully and submit it to the Downtown Rutland Partnership office, 103 Wales Street. A subcommittee of the of the Downtown Rutland Partnership’s Marketing committee will review all applications. Selection will be based on how closely your proposed program fits the Micro Marketing program requirements.
TIMELINE
April 20: Applications open
May 16: Application deadline. Applications must be in the DRP office, by 4:30pm
May 20: Winners will be contacted
