Thank you for your interest in the Downtown Partnership’s Micro Business Grant Program. Once again we are hosting this program to directly improve businesses within the Special Benefits District. The Downtown Partnership has $5,000 in this program to be awarded to existing downtown businesses for capital improvements to their business and/or building.
The following are a few (but not limited to) proposals that would be looked upon more favorably.
- Update or purchase of computer system/software.
- Image improvements to building (addition fund may be available)
- Equipment purchase
Greater weight and consideration will be given to applicants that put forth matching funds towards their project.
Monday, March 11: Applications are available.
Friday, May 3: Application deadline. All apps MUST be in the DRP office by 4:30pm.
Friday, May 10: Winners will be contacted.
**If selected, grant recipients WILL be required to provide the DRP Business Committee with a summery/report several months after the project has been put into place.
Please complete this application and submit to the Downtown Rutland Partnership office located at 48 Merchants Row. The subcommittee of the Business Development Committee will review all applications and prioritize based on how close your application fits program requirements.
