Many positive things happen everyday
at the Boys and Girls Club of Rutland County and
our train depicts some of the enriching and fun
activities available for the young people in our
community at the Club. As you climb aboard The
Boys and Girls Club Express you see a picture
of our computer lab and library where our educational
programs take place. The flower garden is in the
back of our facility and is maintained by our members
with the assistance of the Master Gardeners. In
our kitchen our members are treated to nutritious
daily meals and snacks. Our gym offers daily fitness
activities, and young people use our Gamesroom and
Teen Center to socialize and participate in our
social recreation activities. There is a lot going
on within The Boys and Girls Club Express,
and at the Boys and Girls Club young people can
find year round activities, hope, and opportunity.
The Boys and Girls Club wishes to thank our dedicated
Board of Directors for the support provided for
this project and for their efforts in providing
enriching programs and services for the young people
of Rutland County. We also wish to thank Shane Lewin
our Crafts Director, who works tirelessly to provide
year round quality arts and crafts programs for
our many Club members and the talented Jeff Richter
for his volunteer efforts in designing The Boys
and Girls Club Express. Finally, the many Boys
and Girls Club members with their creative paintbrushes
that worked on this masterpiece we thank.
