We chose the Farmers' Market because it is such
an important part of Downtown Rutland. The variety
of rich and colorful subject matter, from fruits
and vegetables to breads and flowers, inspired the
students' creativity.
We would like to thank Judy Dark of the Farmers'
Market for coming to RIS and talking with the students
about the market. Her information and insight helped
the students develop their ideas and designs. Thanks
also to the RIS PTC for purchasing our train, and
to Dr. Knisley, our Principal, for using his woodworking
skills to create our cow catcher.
