Trains are my favorite
way to travel. I've ridden them throughout North
& South America and Europe with my head hanging
out the window like a happy dog. The narrow gauge
that went up the Rio Grande from Santa Fe to Denver
passed quite near to where I used to live. I rode
that train reveling in the color of brilliant autumn
aspens, watching the moon rise. Spring and fall
are powerful times of change for us here in the
Green Mountains...maples turn the mountains a delicate
and improbable rose hue in spring, while birch create
a luminous, golden vista in the fall. The moon rises
at the equinox with hope and mystery, connecting
us to deeper truths. Let your muse come out and
play.
