The official departure for Rutland’s
street art community project, All Aboard Rutland, will take
place on October 14th, 2006 at the Paramount Theatre. The
evening promises to be a celebration of Rutland, its railroad
history and our area’s talented artists and students.
A preview of the trains will begin at 5:00 pm. This will be
your last chance to view all 59 artist decorated trains as
they occupy every corner of the Paramount Theatre. The live
auction will begin at 7:00 pm with the renowned auctioneer
Robert Prozzo. Rip Jackson and company and James Mee will
provide the evening’s entertainment. Hors d’ oeuvres
and a cash bar will be provided by The Palm’s restaurant.
The All Aboard Palettes currently displayed in the Paramount
Box Office will be silent auctioned.
Tickets are on sale now for $20 per adult; $10 for children

All proceeds from the All Aboard Rutland auction will fund
local promotion of the arts and beautification of Downtown
Rutland. The project is organized by the Downtown Rutland
Partnership with support from the Chaffee Art Center and the
City of Rutland and sponsored by OMYA. |
